"Dear Heather" Listening Parties

Anyone planning and Dear Heather listening parties on or near the release date of the album? I'm thinking of having a very small gathering of friends the weekend after it is released.
What are your plans for when the album comes out?

because i must

at the touch of fear my doubt draws me in. to struggle. basic needs satisfied. the books are on their shelves. my unity divided. my interests are set. once in a while a gun is drawn. but i don’t dwell on it. i wanted to see a great bridge. like in brooklyn or at some theater. i settled for a buildin...

These are the appetites

These are the appetites that get one nowhere complaining of rain when a drizzle falls faintly Amongst brick builidings a future to be had by those holding experience as richness Overcast skies cause doubt... To the ones like me who breakaway and have stopped asking questions long ago Youth in disgui...

Henning,

Thanks for that little gem. It reminds me of "Memories" with the dancing and the humor involved.

Tom, Welcome to the forum (I mean posting here, anyways :D )... The line that you picked is one of those great Cohen signature lines that gets stuck in your head. When I read what you wrote I immeadiately went, "Oh yeah, I remember that one..." TNS is full of great lines like the one you mentioned. ...

Trish,

My girlfriend goes to college right near Mt. Baldy. I have been up there and near the Buddhist retreat but it is closed to the public. I did not go on the grounds in respect of their wishes.

Just Thinking...

I'm sitting here reflecting on the New York event and it certainly gives me a feeling I am bound never to forget. Returning from the International House drunk as a skunk and high on Cohen, the people, and New York City... I came to New York City a naive young man and I left still a bit naive but wit...
