Re: 75th birthday

I am going to be reading poetry on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square next week. I'd love to inlude something as a tribute to Leonard's 75th birthday.

I have started a thread in the poetry place

Poetry on the Plinth in Trafalgar Square

Next week I will be on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, London for an hour. As part of enjoying this unique opportunity, I am going to read poetry chosen by my friends and family. I would like to include a poem by Leonard Cohen as a birthday celebration and for the fans on this forum. My choic...

Re: POLL: Design for Leonard's 75th Birthday Greeting from Fans

I voted for the Unified Hearts. It is the one I would most like as a souvenier - but then which would Leonard like :?:

Has anyone seen Fred in Europe yet? I hope to see him at Weybridge on Saturday.

Re: POLL: Mosaic or Video for Birthday Greeting

I like the photo - but I still think a picture with a lot of variation in colour and shade would be better.

Where there are blocks of colour like the unified hearts it looks as if the program is picking up the same few photos many times.

Re: POLL: Mosaic or Video for Birthday Greeting

I prefer the first 2 colour ones. I didn't think the last one was instantly recognisable as Leonard and I prefered the pictures without so much contrast

Mistaken Identity

I don't like to say this but I think we have a case of mistaken identity with Fred's friend. I dont think he is a moose I think he is a reindeer  In Finland there are lots of reindeer but no moose. Reindeer have branchier antlers. I don't think he is Rudolph because he doesn't have a red nose ...

Re: The Monkey and a plywood violin

Oh I love this thread - I so hope Fred comes to Europe this summer - I want to meet him in Weybridge.

I agree with Frisco - I think Hattie visited this man http://www.kortier.com/ about her harp - which she holds close to her heart.
