In Yahoos "more obscure" artists, Billy Bragg comes in just behind Nick Cave and Tom Waits. I remember Lizzie saying she was not familiar with him, so maybe he is not known much outside Europe. "Yahoo music" has a page on Leonard that has a "similar artists" button to click on. Be sure to look at the "more obscure" option.

Today, the 15th of July is St. Swithins day. Tradition has it that if it rains today it will continue for 40 days. Looking out of my window now, it's not looking good. A minor point of order, Bhasi wrote......
Our Man is scheduled to be 'in conversation' with Philip Glass at the Barbican (London - UK) on 20 October just before the UK premiere of the Book of Longing work.
The 20th is three days after the UK premiere, which is in Cardiff, Wales.

I had "Book of Longing" in work with me today and a colleague said he saw some symbolism in the drawing on the cover. The "three points of the bird", beak and feet make a triangle. the branch makes another, inverted triangle. Together they make the star of David. When he pointed this out, I could se...

Sorry, thats the European premier in Cardiff. The venue will be known to fans of Dr.Who and Torchwood. Got my tickets for the Wednesday, the first night (tickets going fast) .Anyone coming to cardiff get in touch.
