Re: CONCERT REPORT: Chicago, October 29

I've listened the Youtube video many times already. Is someone, for whom English is the natural language, would be kind enough to write down a first draught of the lyrics pleeeease? I would be so happy to understand all of Leonard's words. My suggestion for a final title: "You're So Good Baby".

Best way to insure that Australian musicians will stay exactly that: Opening acts. A bad idea, in my opinion. :(

Caution for an eventual setlist wizard. The text in the previous article does mention "A Thousand Kisses Deep" but does'nt list it in the setlist. Hope it helps.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Ft Lauderdale, October 17

I noticed last night that during the French (I presume) portion of The Partisan, there was scattered applause and cheering at a certain point. (This is evident in scrutnise's YouTube video.) Can any French speakers who were at the show or who watched the YouTube video illuminate whether there was a...

This sirius is "siriusly" getting on my nerves. Can a mod or an administrator pleaaaaaase relegate him/her to where he/she really belongs? In the political section maybe or in the garbage can which is the equivalent for me. Thanks.

Re: Leonard Cohen lands in Israel

Never seen so many details appearing in the press prior to a concert. Only the room numbers are missing! And I was thinking that security was an important concern in Israel. Phew!

My old french-canadian ears caught "don't need your sticky little body" but they may be wrong.

Re: that's it

Wikipedia gives the Ramat Gan stadium at 41,583 seats. Can they really seat 30,000+ people on the grass?
Just curious.

Re: QUIZ: where is the last concert of the tour?

It will be Montreal. So Leonard could rest a few days at home before going back to the recording studio.(I'm probably dreaming a little bit here). I perfectly know that I will not win anything with this choice but I never win something anyway. Besides that, the signed albums of the Webb sisters are ...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Québec, May 21

I have to say that I completly agree with you alga. Just viewed the "Live in London" DVD twice this week and Quebec City was much better. I know that London was maybe the 30th show of this Tour and Quebec the 130th but, God, what a difference. And we got the "Partisan" as a bonus... If ever he comes...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Québec, May 21

When the Webb Sisters and Sharon Robinson were singing the final Dodadam.. of the Tower Of Song, he said to them something to the effect: ''Don't stop, it's beautiful. Did I ever thank you for singing (being?) with me for all those concerts? I don't know if it's the right time...'' I don't know if ...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Québec, May 21

Just back from Quebec City. The Lady and I decided to extend our trip in this beautiful city for an additional day. Too many good restaurants in Quebec to stay just two days. We finally met with Darling/Gaglou/Loulou and her friends before the concert and at the intermission. Lovely ladies. Here is ...
