Dr. Kohen

I was walking through the Jewish Quarter in Paris last week, and I passed the offices of a Doctor Kohen. I wondered if he ever sang to his patients, "I'll examine every inch of you..." Made me giggle anyway.

On the BBC World Service there was a short item about Jaques Brel (if you haven't heard 'ne me quitte pas' you havent't heard the greatest song in the world) and it said the he had inspired artists as diverse as David Bowie and Leonard Cohen.

BT, maybe you could send part of one of the unknown songs to Jarkko so that we know we are not dealing with 'Hitler's Diaries'

Cohen acetate

Now this is an exciting one. :!: I just had an email from Tom who said had I heard about the newly discovered acetate of Mr. Cohen's first LP with 5 new songs, or did he mean different versions of the same songs. Anybody enlighten me? I expect it will be Tom. I can find nothing here about it.

Mr. Cohen and Advertising

President (a brand) of butter in France is using a Bob Dylan song to advertise its wares. I was wondering, just for fun obviously, which Cohen song would you suggest and what ...

Looking at the obvious success of this competiton I feel that we should start this as an annual event. The All Comers Leonard Cohen Files Mornington Crescent World Championship. I say world because the whole world contributes to this site. Does Lizzie realise that she is a world champion! It will be...

:D That is amazing Lizzy. I think you have surpassed yourself making that move. I didn't think that anyone would see it. You should feel proud, and I am proud that it is an American citizen that has won this British game, but truly we are allies and I know that Tony and George W. would also feel imm...
