Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
Hi Patricia It will be great to see you again and everyone else from last year in Las Vegas !!! I agree that it would be nice if there was a separate thread just for the meet ups. My suggestion but I know there is not a chance of it happening... If there is a bar at Caesar's Palace that has no smok...

Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
Well I sure have plenty of ideas for places to have meet-up parties/dinner. I will work on a list! But a few places spring to mind: http://www.peppermilllasvegas.com/ http://www.fireflylv.com/index.htm Tapas style, great cocktails. Has a great downtown location overlooking Fremont. http://www.hashho...

Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
Tigerm, Thank you very much for that wealth of information! Even googling "Las Vegas with kids" didn't bring up most of those ideas. The off-strip ideas sound the most appealing to us and we'll definitely take that buffet advice! Looking forward to all of this! Kelsey Yeah, when we have googled sev...

Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
Great thread - thank you for starting it! Well, I think we're in the minority here, but we'll be arriving in town with two kids under the age of four! We'll be renting a car, so do plan on getting out of town for scenic drives (during nap time!) We'd love ideas about kid and baby-friendly activitie...

Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
A couple of people have asked about getting from the airport to their hotels. Obviously there are plenty of taxi's, the cost will vary but expect to pay anywhere from $10-30 for the Strip hotels. Caesars Palace costs around $20. Traffic and what route the driver can increase/decrease that amount. Mo...

Re: China?
It is unlikely Leonard would play China in the near future. Foreign artists are really restricted by the Chinese government. Given Leonards involvement in 'The Tibetan Book Of The Dead' it is probable Leonard would not be welcome in China. Anything involving Tibet is not welcomed by the Chinese auth...

Re: Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
Yes, 99% of people who visit Las Vegas never leave the Strip corridor. This is a real shame because 20-30 miles away there is some tremendous scenery from Red Rock, Mount Charleston, Lake Mead, Boulder City. A little further there is Valley Of Fire. If you are feeling really adventurous Utah, Grand ...

Las Vegas help -Q and A's/Meet ups etc
Hi there, new to the boards but I have lived in Las Vegas some 8 years now. If you need any help/advice on anything related to the Las Vegas shows, to organize meet-ups or just to chat, feel free to post. If you have any specific Q's about Las Vegas i.e. hotels, advice, local attractions, restaurant...

Re: Honolulu - Portland - Las Vegas: PRESALE INFO WITH LINKS
Thanks again everyone for all your help! This is incredible. I got 4 seats (2 for our friends). What's better? Seat location: section FORCH6, row CC, seats 602-603 Seat location: section FORCH3, row FF, seats 305-304 Thanks and see you in Vegas. I would choose FORCH 6, CC. But there isn't much diff...

Yes they are great seats. This is a small venue, only holds 4000. But any of the Front Orchestra seats are pretty great!

Re: Honolulu - Portland - Las Vegas: PRESALE INFO WITH LINKS
What is the Cohen camps rule on photography at the shows. I'll be in the first row in Portland and would love to take pictures...is this okay? In my experience "the rule" is very ambiguous. At all locations the rule is "No Photography", plain and simple. But more than a few persons on here (naming ...

Re: Honolulu - Portland - Las Vegas: PRESALE INFO WITH LINKS
Thanks all. PLEASE tell me ASAP, is it better to have seats in the front rows in the side (6) or in the FF row in the middle (3)? I would prefer section 4, followed by 3 or 5, and last choice would be 2 or 6. (I' dont like side view of the stage) If I had the above choice I would go for row FF in s...

Re: Honolulu - Portland - Las Vegas: PRESALE INFO WITH LINKS
Hi there, I just got for the second Vegas: section FORCH6, row CC, seats 602-603. What does "CC" mean? The first time I tried (at 8:00), I got tickets for 99$, even though I selected "any price" and "best available". Why is that? This is why I missed the best seats... Please tell me ASAP, is it bet...

Depends. If you are sat central but in front of the tallest person in the world the seat isn't great. To be honest they are both great seats

Re: Honolulu - Portland - Las Vegas: PRESALE INFO WITH LINKS
There is no rush to actually book hotels. December is pretty quiet in Vegas, so hotel rooms won't sell-out or inflate in price. There is plenty of time to shop around and get the best rates. This site is pretty good to find the best hotel deals http://www.broadwaybox.com/lasvegas/ If you need advice...
