I have been wondering as well whether the will-call system means the tickets must be picked up the day of the concert, or whether i could pick them up a day in advance? Does anyone know about that? Jarkko?

Re: Columbia, Md. - May 11
apologies: I should have included the actual phone number that Ticketmaster gave me for the MD Ticketmaster office. I left it at work. I will post it tomorrow so that people can go through one fewer step, if anyone tries what I suggested in the above post.

Re: Columbia, Md. - May 11
I don't know if this will work for anyone else, but here's what I did this morning: Bought tix for Columbia via the "Best Available" selection (L:C row BB), and then, like all of you, saw later that better seats had "become" (?) available. I CALLED TICKETMASTER, and, despite their own policy that se...

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members
Jarkko, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ARRANGING THE PRESALE. We successfully got tickets for the Columbia, MD show--not quite the seats we wanted, but pretty good ones, and I am so tremendously grateful. This is a lifelong dream for me. I'm sure you hear that all the time... but THANK YOU. Annette --Fo...

Re: To new members: activation emails
jarkko, I am sorry to contribute to what must be a flood of confused users. Here's my question: I am (obviously) registered for the forum and able to log on and post just fine. However, I'm also supposedly signed up to receive news from the site ("sign up" on the upper right of the main page)--I've ...

Re: Rollingstone News on Leonard Cohen
Just in case anyone ever really wondered if it was only "because of a few songs wherein I spoke of their mystery" that "women have been especially kind to my old age"..."Looking younger and handsome... I'd not challenge those observations, but would opt for
more vital and happy."

Re: Interview with Promoter Rob Hallett and possible 2009 dates
Oh, I am just stricken to realize that Our Man's return to performing was inspired by financial necessity, and that he would have believed he would be "old news"! Thank god for this article: somehow I have imagined LC, even after his monastic years and all, as well cushioned from the pressures of fi...
