Re: "Bird on a wire" (the Tony Palmer film) coming on DVD

Hi there, Violet! I can understand that, as a writer, you must love the name. ;-) However, I am afraid "Puddingdale stories" do not really belong in a thread about the most revealing (hehe) re-release of a movie ever ;) So, I will just try and cut it short: Puddingdale is a fictional place from a Tr...

Re: "Bird on a wire" (the Tony Palmer film) coming on DVD

Thanks a lot for your efforts, bridger :) And what a sweet picture of you with Mr Palmer!
Can't wait to see what really is different in the restored version, especially since it is so much longer than the bootleg that has been passed around. ;-)

Re: PRESALE TO CONCERTS IN GERMANY on APRIL 22!!!

Chapeau to you, Pearlvoice, for being so determined!!! Woah, I think I would have died by now. Well, the upside is that nobody was left here to take the best seats away from us :D Thank you, thank you - oh lonesome heroine! I just hope you will not be fired now for training your Hulk Hogan finger in...

Thanks so much CarolineM for uploading this so us blocked people can see it. And thank you sturgess for alerting me! It worked at last :) And finally I understand why it is blocked in some countries

Re: Take This Waltz - New Music Video, please critique!

Haha :D What a lot of work you must have put into this. I like the part in the bathroom, hilarious! However, the connection to the actual lyrics is lost to me. But I guess that is the joke of it all - a song about mortality (is it?) and three guys posing at the fine line to ridicule. ;-) Enlighten m...

Re: LEONARD IS FEELING FINE

I am glad I only read about it all after Leonard's feeling better and not yesterday. Thank you for all the information, everyone. I hope he will indeed recover and be able to have a wonderful birthday on Monday. Hope he will take it slow and postpone the concert rather than endangering his health ag...

Re: Adam Cohen at Edmonton Tribute & His New Music

Yeah, I realized who Tom was when I tried with myspace myself. Hmm, maybe there have been no others approved, probably it isn't even Adam himself taking care of the page. Anyway, thanks to myspace we can at least listen to some of the new songs. Aaaah, and I loved Adam's answer about his dad onstage...

Well done! The man needs support from a "real" friend
Yes, I noticed the main site had vanished. I hope they are working on something better...
Ah, and let me know if Adam is prepared to make illegal copies of his unreleased album for his "friends" ;-)

No way - can't wait! And why has he only got two friends? *rofl*

Anyway, thanks for opening my eyes. I must have overlooked that in my ecstasy

Re: Adam Cohen at Edmonton Tribute & His New Music

Wow - this IS beautiful. A fool indeed not to have released such compelling words and music. And it still is AC's own style after all, so no need to worry he might be confused with the old man :D
Is there any information on where and when the album can be bought?

You did it!!! Well done again. I cannot even begin to imagine how many hours and nervewrecking stares at squares ;-) you must have put into this. Bravo!

Now I am really looking forward to hearing how this special present will be received. Yes, let's hope for a broad crooked grin :D
