My thoughts are with you Jarkko and with Andrea's family. I can't imagine what his family is going through and those he was close to. My prayers are with all of you. Such sad news.

Congratulations to both of you! I'm such a big mouth, I'm always yapping about my love life while Bobbie and Marc were just quietly planning the rest of their lives together!! Now I expect some chat about newly wedded news if I ever catch you in the chat room Mrs.! Sorry...can't help exclaiming all ...

That's what I'm talking about. Glad to hear you are now on your best behavior and that you are having some good times down under. I don't even know why you are there bee, but it sounds like you might be in the music business? My 20 year old daughter, Gina, has a company in Sacramento and does lots o...

I live the Southwestern US, Arizona. I just want the Aussie's to know that I don't give a damn about this fashion business sisters; I would be happy to share whatever is on the barbie, and I think kangaroo's are ok. I would love to visit down under and hope to be able to someday! And, by the way, I ...

Lizzy, Lizzy, Lizzy, I was not commenting on your comment as silly! I was thinking of making a funny comment on Kim's condition but then thought better of it. I just hate it when anyone kind of slips in a dig on someone without being direct and I would never do that to anyone on this board. Hell.......

I started to write several sort of "silly" comments on Kim and his wife's rescue from the mountain. But, in light of the news from Sri Lanka, etc. I'm just very glad to hear you both are safe and sound. Enjoy the Feast of Cohen and you will have to tell the details of this adventure when you return!

Christmas. It's a rough one for me if I examine it too deeply. I'm just going to go with love's the only engine of survival and use this time to try to brush up on my survival skills and practice my Gloria Gaynor...."As long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive....Christmas karoake here I co...

Welcome back from me too El. Good luck with school and if Gordon and I get to NYC anytime, maybe we can meet for lunch or you can talk art with Gordon. He'll have his degree in Fine Art soon and turns out he's enjoying his pottery/sculpting classes more than the painting. Who knew that pottery could...

My husband and I planned on going to Hydra but I've been following the political discussion in the newsgroup and Dem has scared the shit out of me! But what's so odd is that when I went to my storage shed to clean out some stuff there were two current British passports in the trash and they look a h...

Glad you made it home safely from the concert henning. It's just so amazing that a band from Tucson, where I lived for 20 years, would be there playing for you. And, of course, I remember when we spoke years ago just after I had come home from a fund raiser for Rainer's family held in Tucson. A wond...

O, no, Sophistikitten. I was referring to the "why not try Idol" suggestion. Should have been more specific. It's just that wannasing seemed really sincere and Idol is such a circus and exploitive and, in my case, humiliating as I couldn't even do a William Hung version of She Bangs! Even the smart ...

Sorry, wannasing, that you received a few "smart ass" replies to your sincere post. It's just "sour grapes" on their part. I admire your desire to sing again! And, it sounds as if your style is the kind of stuff I love. I wish you much success when you get into the studio. My daughter is a music pro...
