Thank you Christian, for this introduction to Erica Pomerance via Jarkko. Although it took her connection to LC to become aware of her work, it is obvious she is an accomplished, dedicated, and complicated woman who continues to work at her craft. I look forward to learning more about her. Her conne...

This may truly be a young person here, posting their poem to share. It took guts to do that. The forum can be a scary place, even for me, and I'm old and feeble. So...good luck to you young person. Your journals and your poems will help you express yourself and your feelings and can be important too...

A very exclusive event, obviously. I can just feel the love in the air, the romance, the bondage...oops, bonding. Beautiful venue!
I will be working toward making the "A" list for next year.

Have a wonderful event Diane and Ali. I know you will.
If I could have made it I would have been singing loud enough to offend everyone.
And the men...pete, p, tim and more....I'm so jealous of you!
Good Luck!!

O, Parky. That is such sad news. I belong to an Irving Layton and Other Contradictions site and I can't believe the news of his death hadn't posted there. But, I've changed email addresses, so that could be why I haven't seen it. Thank you so much for posting this. I have a photo he sent me, smiling...

Congratulations Andrew on your event this past year. Thanks for sharing it in the files and you're on my "list" to meet and greet some day too. If you're ever out Arizona way, stop by and say "G'day!" to me. You and whatever entourage accompany you would be more than welcome for a visit. Hell, bet y...

Well. Thanks to Anjani I can "come out of the closet". Although I love our Leonard, give me some Ella Fitzgerald, Alberta Hunter, Pearly Bailey, Lena Horne, and great scat and jazz riffs anytime. I have not heard Anjani and I am looking forward to "Blue Alert". Leonard is going to bring some real "c...

A funny thing happened on my way to the forum...I realized that G and others are concerned about me. I feel so Sally Field. (Of course, Lizzy's concern is a given. hehe). And I'm not bashing you Lizzy perhaps someday I'll be comfortable with the warm and fuzzy, it's just not me but thank you for you...

I just feel like writing something. So excuse me...go easy.

No critique necessary actually. Just want to share because I'm sad. He said "You'd be dead if I didn't love you." That slap was just a kiss compared to a fist. The sound of one hand slapping shrieked through her head, her skull, her throbbing heart. She turned the other cheek. Once again to descend ...

LC, It's so strange but here again, you're 71 and hanging on, and your will to live and devotion to your work and your music continue to inspire me. I'm in the middle of another horrible divorce, I'm broke and broken, and have moments of utter despair...but...you are always there and damn, you still...
