Leonard Cohen - Montreal interview,

Hi, From what I can see this interview was originally posted by Leonka sometime back in a thread related to Simon Cowell. So for many this great interview might have passed you by. If so, enjoy it now, and again and again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHqbIuN1diE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30u...

Re: Lines that get you every time

Hi,

from the staggering account
of the Sermon on the Mount
which I don't pretend to understand at all.

It's here the family's broken
and it's here the lonely say
that the heart has got to open
in a fundamental way:

- Democracy

Hi,

I can't find this anywhere on the Forum. This is new to me. A really powerful version filled with conviction. Perla and Julia - superb.

Re: Tracing Some Of LC's Ideas Back To The Source

Re: The Partisan (Reykjavik, 1988)

Hi,

Revisiting this song and thread. I notice from Reykjavik Leonard sings "then the Germans came". Is this unusual?

"An old woman gave us shelter,
kept us hidden in the garret,
then the soldiers came;
she died without a whisper"
