Re: CONCERT REPORT: New York, Feb 19 at the Beacon

Also, did anyone happen to get a photo of the Beacon sign where it said "Leonard Cohen Sold Out"? We were so thrown off by the t-shirt incident that we forgot to take a shot ourselves. This is a few years late, but I actually do have this: http://www.mattjh.com/misc/02-19-2009-sold-out-ma...

Re: Big Announcement today at 7:30 am EDT!

I am wondering about pre-sale information as well, particularly for the Philadelphia show. GREAT news!

Re: The Fall Tour 2009 in USA

I am also anxiously awaiting pre-sale information. I will be there at the Spectrum show, no question about it! I can't believe this will be my third time this year seeing Leonard Cohen after waiting patiently for fifteen years. Patience truly paid off this time.

Thanks! I just made the same comment on that blog, but I didn't get a box with my ring! Now I want one. Haha.

Thanks! It's less to do with my photography skills (which are small to none), and more to do with the exceptional camera integrated in my BlackBerry Storm.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Philadelphia, May 12

If you look at my avatar to the right, you will see a representation of the High Priest's hands (LC?) performing this ritual. This is a scan of the LC keychain I bought at the merch stand in Los Angeles. It never leaves my person. I feel blessed all the time. Likewise, this sterling silver ring wil...

When will the online shop finally open?

There's a thread on this here... http://www.leonardcohenforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12379 ...but it seems to be abandoned in a forum that is no longer getting new posts. I was handed the canvas tote bag and t-shirt for free as a Beacon Theatre fan club member, and I acquired a tour program an...

Re: The tour merchandise and collectibles; online shop soon

So... any news on the online shop yet? I wanted to pick up quite a bit of merchandise last night at the Philadelphia show, but I only walked away with a tour program (a very nice gift from my girlfriend) and a sterling silver Unified Heart ring. Mine was sized exactly rather than the one-size-fits-a...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Philadelphia, May 12

Due to a series of fairly incredible events, I managed to secure two front row center seats on the floor for face value. I can't even begin to explain anything about last night; only that I was honored to be a guest. P.S. - Exchanging a smile from seat-to-stage with Charley Webb was a personal high ...

Re: May 12-09 Show in Philadelphia

For beers near the Academy Of Music at Broad & Locust, my top pick would be Good Dog between Walnut and Locust on 15th Street, one block west of Broad. My alternate suggestion, for those of you who smoke cigarettes, would be McGlinchey's between Locust and Spruce on 15th Street, also one block w...

So, who is familiar enough with the Academy Of Music venue to talk about the view from the Parquet Box Seats? Particularly one of the four center boxes.

After driving in places like New York City, Boston, and Washington DC, I will respectfully but vehemently disagree. The North / South / East West grid system coupled with almost entirely one-way streets makes driving extremely easy in Philadelphia.

Re: May 12-09 Show in Philadelphia

Considering the money I dropped for the Beacon Theatre show, I went straight for Family Circle at 10:00:01am and got Row A seats 6 and 8, just right-center in the first row of that section. $200 total. Very excited! Thank you so much, Jarkko! I'm in Row A seats 106 and 107, which is about 8 seats a...

Re: Ticket Strategy - Best available

For the Philadelphia show, it had the option to actually manually select which seats you were purchasing. It was pretty amazing, but I found that out after I had specified the cheapest section (the Beacon Theatre show drained my recreational spending). Nonetheless, I luckily ended up with front row ...
