ISO Saguenay Show 2008-05-31

I know this is a long shot but if anyone here has a recording (quality not important) of the second saguenay show, I would love to have it. I can trade pictures from the same night.

Re: Appeal to all pre-Toronto audiences

only we who were blessed to be a part of the "pre-tour" can really know how much everyone else is missing. let's have compassion for them and hope they feel as good about their shows as we feel about ours. Traveling thousands of miles and paying way too much money to get to Saguenay to be ...

Re: Toronto (June 6 to 9)

Yes, the tour has always advertised a 2009 leg. John the merchandise guy confirmed with me that the tour will continue and in all likelihood will include US dates. But nothing has been hammered down yet. Personally, I would not pin my hopes on some vague future dates. As they say in spanish, "l...

Re: All YouTube & Multimedia Links

After having seen the show, I do appreciate that some evidence of these performances exists out in cyberspace. And I don't think they are any real threat to a professionally produced DVD in the future. I will be getting that DVD as soon as it is released. But a word of caution to other fans who wish...

Re: Saguenay May 30 and 31st

Hello dear friends! Finally, I am back at home and back to earth! Though I think, I hope, I am a transformed person post-LC Tour 2008. As promised, here is a scan of the setlist that I and two fanboys were graced with by a thoughtful roadie breaking down the set when Darling and I were unable and un...

CONCERT REPORTS: Saguenay, QC (May 30 and 31)

We don't have an available computer so you will have to wait a bit. But savor this: on the 31st there were surprises in the setlist! It was a triumph in every sense. Mr. Cohen had tears. The Webb sisters were angels. Ms. Robinson was masterful. Each musician was fantastic. And the lighting was movin...

Re: Saguenay Meet Up

I also have in my french repertoire "je ne parle pas francais" and "ou est le toilette?" Not that any of that will help me with Mr. Cohen, unless gods and the angels have mercy on me and find a way for me to be inconspicuously backstage. However, with the big day approaching, I d...

Re: Saguenay Meet Up

yummmm... french fries smothered in gravy sounds lovely.

The grass is always greener: the last few days have been heating up. Winter is definitely over. Goodbye cool mid 70s. I really wouldn't mind a break from all this sweating.

Re: Saguenay Meet Up

There is a train that travels from Montreal to Jonquiere called the Via Saguenay. I've read that it is breathtakingly beautiful but it takes about 9 hours and adds approximately $100-140 to the trip. The public transport option from Quebec City to Chicoutimi is the Intercar bus system which takes 2....

Re: Saguenay Meet Up

Flying into Bagotville adds an extra $300 to my ticket which I would rather have for a car and lodging.

Saguenay Meet Up

If any Saguenay locals or travelers are interested in meeting up during the shows, please respond here and let's get something together. I don't know yet whether I will fly into Montreal or Quebec City, nor how I will be getting to Saguenay. Hopefully some locals will respond and enlighten us about ...

Canada: tickets are still available from http://www.reservatech.net for Glace Bay and Saguenay for relatively reasonable prices.
