Re: Full version of the Stages arrangement of Tower of Song?
Not that I know of. I believe that the first part of "Stages" was taken from one of Leonard's final shows in December, 2013 in Sydney, Australia. I don't have the booklet in front of me but I think the weird version of Tower of Song is edited in from an unknown (to me) soundcheck that coul...

Re: November 5
Wow! Something to look forward to. I have never stopped checking this site, with almost the urgency of the pre-tours days and it is lovely to have something unexpected and new, at least to some degree.

If It Be Your Will, Leonard Solo 2005
Hello Friends -- I just wanted to share this recording of "If It Be Your Will" with you since we never got a "modern era" Leonard version of it. It is from a wonderful Norwegian interview conducted by Kari Hesthamar in 2005 in Los Angeles. I have been looking for it for a long ti...

Re: New Book: The Future by Jim Devlin
Wow this looks brilliant. How much background info and after-the-tour is there? I think this tour is super interesting for a few reasons. 1. Leonard's Voice/Performance Style He was drinking more on this tour than perhaps any other. To me, on the bootlegs, he often sounds looser and more experimenta...

Re: Montreal Leonard Cohen Memorial Commemorative Box Set
From reading the site it seems quite clear that the charitable foundation functions as a way to create products related to Leonard Cohen and his work. It is a financial structure that serves the goals of its directors. I really think it’s a bit rich to talk about this organization as a charity. I un...

Re: Montreal Leonard Cohen Memorial Commemorative Box Set
I think that I should just say how I feel and if it kills the vibe of this news for people, I want to ask that Jarkko just deletes my post. Jarkko is someone who Leonard Cohen frequently publicly recognized for keeping his work alive and through his site and this forum, he has facilitated so much jo...

Re: NOW THE COUNTDOWN: Waiting For The News To Come
Oh I want it to be a new album of studio outtakes or live versions but I feel that we were very lucky to get so many records after “Dear Heather” and especially lucky to get “Thanks for the Dance” and so many live albums from the 2000s tours. All of those were pretty great...except for the audio on ...

Re: Waiting For The News To Come
I'm just so happy that there is something to look forward to from Leonard. I miss those days when he was active and we had a little inside look here. I hope Jarkko knows what joy he facilitated in us and, I think, in Leonard as well. Nice to have patience again.

Hi Maarten!
Is there any way you could share this audio with me, too? I would love to hear it.

Re: 2013 Recordings
Is there anyway someone would be able to re-upload the 2013 Wallingford, CT show? I've been searching for it everywhere as it was the sole Leonard Cohen concert I was able to attend. Re: Will there be posthumous disc?
I sure hope there will be. I don't expect that it will contain either of those projects but I hope it will contain things like the new version of "Book of Longing" which is so incredible.
