Was anyone else baffled over the fate of the girl who's feet didn't touch the ground? I mean, she just disappeared, what's that about?

I'm not at liberty to say, unfortunately. I know something I'm not supposed to know, once it's done I'll be able to babble about it.

It went for a ~lot~ of cash- 57 pounds, to be specific, and considering I'm in Canada, it's quite a bit of money. I really wanted it, though, and I may be able to get it signed in a few months, so for me it's worth it.

I see your point, but I have to disagree a little. I have a friend who's been a fan since his first album came out, and she also prefers his earlier work to Ten New, I think it's simply a matter of taste. I do like Ten New, and there are parts of it that I can really identify with, sometimes I liste...

I agree. It's the right tone for this point in time, I suppose, but I do dig his past work more.

You should be able to order it at most bookstores, if that doesn't work, I'm sure you can get it online. I got mine at Chapters. (hiss, boo, I know.)

Cohen was being ironic about male dominance not sensual when he wrote "Lie beside me baby that's an order." Few of us like to sleep with Nazis and those that do often wind up with their heads in the oven. So you're dismissing submissiveness entirely? Odd, I know a lot of women that enjoy ...

Lyricly, I think Ten New is awesome, musically, I find it a bit 'easy listening' for my taste. I downloaded a few of the songs from it done in a spoken word style, and I liked them much better.
But that's just me. =)
