Re: Louisville, Kentucky 30 March, 2013 US/Canada Vine

I just posted on the Memphis vine thread and also would love to get on this one. Thanks! I tried to PM you but you must have the ability to receive private messages turned off in your profile. Anyway, I have your address and will send the discs along as soon as I can copy them. Given the state of U...

Re: Louisville, Kentucky 30 March, 2013 US/Canada Vine

Hi, Everybody.
I was at the concert in Louisville and would really love to be added to the vine. It would be a great souvenir of a special night. I've never been involved in a vine before but I'm willing to do my share. Just PM me!

Re: CONCERT REPORT - Louisville, KY - March 30, 2013

My wife and I traveled from Fredericton, NB Canada to see the show in Louisville. We were totally amazed by how good it was. Many, many thanks to Leonard, the band, and the crew. what a performance! I have seen Leonard twice before but had not seen him perform Alexandra Leaving, avalanche, or Famous...

Re: 'Last Year's Man' children's choir

Yes, according to the latest bio, I'm your man, the children's voices were recorded in London and Leonard wasn't there. The producer took it upon himself to add that to the track. Leonard was, in general, not 100% pleased with the record, considering it somewhat overproduced.

Re: PRESALE TO ALL CONCERTS (Except NY) ON TUESDAY (Jan 15)

Wow! First show in New Orleans, my home town - flew to Colorado in November for the show last year and drove to Austin in 2009. Can't wait to see him here! The Mahalia Jackson theater is a great venue - just across from the French Quarter, walking distance or a quick cab ride from all the major hot...

Re: A great concert and a big 'thank-you' to Rafael Gayol (story

My husband and I were fortunate enough to see the very first concert of this tour in Fredericton (thanks to brother-in-law libraryref)... My pleasure. All glory goes to a colleague of mine who "willingly" used her Friends of the Playhouse membership to get me tickets. This is someone I re...

Re: Toronto (June 6 to 9)

Just back from the show. My daughter (25 years old) and I sat 18 rows back on the right hand side. Great show. After 'Hallelujah' she turned to me and said, "That's the most amazing thing I've ever seen." Oh, and then the show got even better. I had been to the Fredericton concert. I'm rea...

Of course, ideally, the gift would be "a box of chocolates and a long stemmed rose".

Re: Opening Night - Fredericton

One surprise of the Fredericton show was that there was no "official merchandise" for sale. At least, I didn't see any. There is merchandise coming - but it may take some time until the items are available (until the European leg of the tour begins????) what?? nooooooooooo :? I think perh...

Re: Opening Night - Fredericton

Everyone who saw the concert must be on cloud nine today. It was phenomenal. I've been waiting 35 years for this. Just his coming to Fredericton was enough but still, my expectations were so high I had prepared myself to be disappointed in the performance. I thought that his voice may be weak, perha...

Re: Fredericton gets ready

The concert was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leonard's voice was terrific - very strong. Band was awesome. First song was "Dance me to the end of love". Lots of material from The Future. Nothing from Songs of Love and Hate.

More Later.

Re: Fredericton gets ready

I just heard form someone who works at the Playhouse that rehearsal yesterday (Thursday) was from 10 am to 4 pm. He also said there is TONS of equipment. It will be a BIG show in every sense of the word.
