Re: Happy 76th birthday, Leonard! (September 21, 2010)

Ever since you touched my perfect body with your mind back in 1967 I have loved your words and music. May you continue in good health and cheer to create this magic. Thank you for your work. God bless you, Pam

Re: The church of Leonard Cohen

I expected that these concerts would be great musical experiences. They are that and so much more. Leonard's words, music, musicians and gathering of fans is a roomful of love. This church or order of the unified hearts includes everyone. We are all blessed. Pam

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Columbus, Ohio, October 27

Leonard rocked Columbus! The show was perfection. It seemed especially intimate as the stage wasn't particularly large and we managed to get row 7 seats. Many of the people I spoke with hadn't seen the show before and I thought that the audience started out not as excited as I have come to expect bu...

Re: The final poster

I may have missed the info earlier. What size poster will it be? bridger, I think it is 19.68 x 27.55 inches full size. My photography friends use an online photolab called mpix.com that does a good job at a reasonable price. They charge about $25. for a 20x30"poster and have many options for ...

Re: The final poster

If we all submitted photos of ourselves, perhaps one of those software programs or program people could condense them into those pixel-y squares [each square an individual photo of us] into a full-size image of Leonard himself. [The kind they do to commemorate various occasions]. My idea is full-si...

Re: The final poster

I just returned from a long weekend in the mountains to find the completed project. Bravo to all who participated! Great job Laura, Marie and Linda finishing up on the mosaic and tending to all the last minute changes that always have to be made on a project this complex. Thank you to all who submit...

Re: POLL: Design for Leonard's 75th Birthday Greeting from Fans

I know I've said a lot, but I'm wondering if you agree with anything I've said in all of this. You don't have to say, but I'm just wondering. Hi Lizzy, What you said made sense about Leonard liking sparse, dark, minimalistic things. I think that is true. I can see why you feel the way you do. When ...

Re: POLL: Design for Leonard's 75th Birthday Greeting from Fans

It has been an honor to work on this project to make a birthday gift for someone that I love. Opportunities like this don't come around very often and this one has been a true labor of love. Thank you to everyone who felt strongly about both designs. As an artist, that's what it is all about - the p...

Re: POLL: Design for Leonard's 75th Birthday Greeting from Fans

I think the final design should be completed by the person who made the design. I figured Laura was chosen to do it because she is in Europe but with digital files that doesn't matter. Nobody asked me about it. I would like to do it. The design should be judged by the design and there is a little bi...
