This post might be a little bit late, but I would like to add something to it. I bought the Leonard Cohen Essential album and at that time I had an affair with a woman, called Alexandra. We broke up only one day after I'd bought the album, but until then I hadn't seen the song on the album. Since th...

Wild Rose, Am I right is guessing that your photo/avatar is actually of a young Nick Cave and not yourself! I saw a recent tv program about him and was impressed by some of his work. there are indeed some similarities with that of L C. lol yeah, it's not me, because I'm a girl and I hope tha...

Hi wildrose ~ You "look the part" of someone in the arts. Great photo! With writing as an aspiration of yours, I guarantee that you will come to like, respect, and appreciate Leonard more with time. Marianne DeGroot is Dutch, but she mainly [if not exclusively] hangs out in the Chatroom. ...

Hello, LC-fans... I'm new here and I would like to introduce myself in this topic. I can't call myself a huge LC-fan, because I listen more to Nick Cave and Jeff Buckley. But LC is a interesting person and his songs are worth the listen to. I study dutch language and culture at university in Groning...

Welcome wildrose and A'af. Don't hesitate to go ahead and get the other albums, wildrose. I had presumed you to be a woman, given your name, wildrose. What prompted you to choose it? By the way, [for all new listeners], The Essential had to stop somewhere, but the unincluded ones could well have be...
