Just a head up - a highlight for me in Ghent was Alexandra Leaving, sung entirely by Sharon.
It was absolutely mesmerising, so if it starts, don't get up and go for a wee, or take photos, just enjoy :D :D

She had me in tears, completely wonderful. :)

Re: URGENT: HOP FARM SHOWS TO WEMBLEY ARENA

Wembley is by no means my favourite venue, with the trek from Wembley Park Station to the arena (and first-timers - note that it's the arena, NOT the Stadium). However, I saw Bob Dylan there, a few years ago, and they have improved the surrounding area and the intererior area where the loos, bars, ...

Re: URGENT: HOP FARM SHOWS TO WEMBLEY ARENA

has anyone received a refund from eventim yet? I have just realised that I have a new debit card (with a new card number) since I booked the tickets and am now concerned that this will pose a problem if eventim try and send the refund back to the original card number.... There's no refund showing o...

Re: Leonard live at the national stadium, Dublin 1988

I WAS THERE! I was only 19, and had spent the previous 4 years being lulled to sleep by Leonard's first 3 albums, very typical of teenagers the world over.... When he announced a tour in Dublin, I couldn't wait to get tickets! My boyfriend and I were shocked to find ourselves by far the youngest peo...

Re: Weybridge

Lol I forget completely that i look totally different without my hair! Cycle home was a bit hairy, but there were lots of hills to keep us warm & it was only 3 miles & people these days generally can't overtake cycles, so after a while we just had a massive queue of cars following us, so the...

Re: Weybridge

Hey Vaughan

I think we were right beside you, A medium man, a girl, a tall man in a tilley hat & me, a redhead under a blue raincoat & cap, so completely unrecognisable from my photo!

You came a bit late & sat beside us :D

Knowing that the parking & cars were going to be a disaster, we went by bike. Sounds like it was worth it, despite the fact that we got wet through to our underwear on the way home!
