Re: CONCERT REPORT: LONDON, JUNE 21, 02 ARENA

Greetings. I saw seven concerts in Leonard's 2008-09 tour, but for various reasons did not see any in 2010 or 2012. When Friday's O2 concert was announced a few months ago I took a big punt and bought two tickets, thanks as ever to the wonderful opportunities given to us by this Forum. I was nervous...

Re: PRESALE ON TUESDAY TO LONDON (June 21, 2013)

Why the panic? Tickets come and tickets go. Be patient. Keep trying. Good things come to those who blah ... I tried about a dozen times and, in the end, "settled" for Row G in block A3. Not central, but a lot nearer the front than the back. I'm just happy to back in the game, Going Home, a...

Re: UK CONCERTS

THIS HAS JUST BEEN POSTED ON THE GUARDIAN WEBSITE: Leonard Cohen is to play a one-off outdoor show in the UK this summer – with a mammoth set lasting more than three hours. The 77-year-old singer, famed for songs such as Hallelujah, I'm Your Man and Suzanne, will play at the Hop Farm in Kent on 8 Se...

Guardian: My Favourite Album

The Guardian newspaper has been doing a series of My Favourite Album, in which assorted Guardian hacks write about, well, their favourite album. The Songs of Leonard Cohen has now been subjected to this treatment (hurrah!). And the piece is not so bad. See here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/music...

Re: MOJO magazine - February 2011 issue

Thanks for this. Bought it yesterday and listened to the CD this morning. Mojo's pretty good, but don't you think Uncut is generally better? For those who are looking for new music to listen to, get the Feb '11 Uncut. Its CD has 15 new tracks from a range of artists. Included are new tracks from the...

Re: LEONARD RESCHEDULES EUROPEAN PERFORMANCES DUE TO INJURY

I have a ticket for Lille and have today received an email from Gerard Drouot Productions stating that tickets for the March shows in France will be valid for the rearranged September dates. The email does not appear to say anything about procedures for refunds and the like. The email is in French a...

Re: LEONARD RESCHEDULES EUROPEAN PERFORMANCES DUE TO INJURY

Jarkko, I'd like to thank you for the considerate way you and the team have handled this difficult episode. Like everyone here I wish Leonard a speedy and pain-free recovery. Are we safe to assume that tickets for the March shows will be valid for the September shows? And is there any news on refund...

Re: What is going on ?

If it is a postponement, I guess the next question is why? Is it because they are in the middle of recording the new album and they want to continue with that; is it for logistical reasons; is it because of tiredness; or is it something more sinister? Working myself up into a bit of a panic attack h...

Re: ATTN: third row Lille now on sale...

Thank you so much for posting this. I've just bought my (3rd row) ticket for what will be my 8th concert of this amazing tour.

Like most of us Europeans, I thought we were done.

Never say never, huh.

Re: Big Announcement today at 7:30 am EDT!

While you're all watching I'd like to say that Monday night in Dublin was probably the best of the 7 concerts I've seen in 2008-09. The new lines in 1000 kisses deep are quite wonderful. And somehow the great classics (Suzanne, Hallelujah, Famous Blue Raincoat) are shining brighter than ever.
