Re: AUSTRALIA AND NZ - TICKET LINKS

Thank you so much for returning to Perth Mr Cohen. I managed to miss the presale for fan members! That will teach me for not logging on for a few months. Anyway I still got 2 seats for the dinner show tickets in "A" block for Members Equity Stadium. Bummer is they are in row "S" ...

Re: charter bus transport to sandalford winery concert..

There is also a bus company bus west offering round trips to sandalford on Feb 7 from major pick up sites around Perth. It costs about $A20 round trip but you have to book.

Re: a desperate australian!!!

Yes I did finally receive my VIP tickets for Sandalford winery in Perth. There are still radio ads on selling tickets so obviously not sold out yet. I hope it still does okay though because I really appreciate Leonard coming to Perth. Many acts just don't get over here.

Re: a desperate australian!!!

Irene maybe ring the Bowra Country Womens Association. They may be able to check with their local members and see if someone is prepared to rent you a room for the night . http://www.cwaofnsw.org.au/branchesGrou ... isionId=31

Wow three shows!! Thats great!

I'm not worried about the tickets any more. I have a screen receipt for particulat ticket numbers and instructions are Tickets are still being printed for some shows and call if they haven't arrived 2 days before. I've got to wait until February now.

Re: a desperate australian!!!

Hahaha thats absolute gold! I'll bet Kev never thought he'd be shouting you to a weekend with Leonard! What a way to stimulate the economy :) On another slightly related point, I ordered my tickets ages ago, but they haven't arrived. I wasn't worried because Ticketmaster site did say they don't send...

Re: a desperate australian!!!

At the Sandalford winery (Perth), they've put buses on!! What a shame that wasn't an option at the winery closest to you Irene. It seems like a wonderful idea to me and parking would be pain anyway. Plus it leaves the option open to have a drink and not worry about driving! I'm pleased for you...

Re: a desperate australian!!!

I have to disagree about the vineyards not being a good place to perform. I think they'll be exquisite backdrops and I hope Leonard thoroughly enjoys himself. There won't be the mud and rain of Glastonbury (in fact it will be hot as hell in Perth at least) but it should still prove to be wonderful e...

Re: AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

Irene you could try offering a friend or relation the cash and get them to buy the tickets on their card. Many cards have reward points and that might be an incentive for the owner of the card.

Re: Leonard coming to Australia !! (SEE PAGE 5)

I am deliciously happy (and sort of shell shocked) that I really do have two glorious tickets for the Perth performance. I love the idea of an evening on the green, surrounded by the beautiful vineyards, hopefully with a cool breeze fanning up from the river on what will probably be a hot february n...

I got two VIP tickets for Sandalford winery in Perth February 7th '09. Pure heaven!

I am so happy. Joining the day on the green worked well. Thank you very much for the tip.

Looks like there might be a few grumpy old men around the site :)

AS a newbie myself I have to say it's really very hard to figure out where the updates to threads are. I'm not sure all the notifications re subscibed thread updates are getting through to email either.

Re: ticket touts

So awful to hear that you've all has such problems with your tickets. I paid $250 Australian dollars to see Sting/Police perform outdoors. The $250 paid for a chair parked on grass (and I didn't get to use the chair). That was the legitimate issue price of the ticket. I would be happy to pay that to...
