Re: Little Bad Dream Charm - Kathy Fagan

Ah but at least I do have an IQ.
And I have yet to meet a lobotomised crayon.
Admit it, greg, it's rubbish.
Twee but still rubbish.

Re: La Di Dah

Hey Michael, Are you surprised at your popularity - surely not - we admire you greatly. And we bless your work on behalf of the under privel-aged, like myself. Simply to be the recipient of your words, positive or negative, bestows a glow beyond explanation. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the g...

Re: Your smell is gone

Oh! I am cut to the quick to think that Lord Michael of Mickey should reveal a story that is neither true, amusing nor even vaguely interesting - unless in a psychotherapeutic way to himself. And, dear Cate, he thought I'd use the word tool in relation to him? Hyperbole if ever I saw it ...

Re: Your smell is gone

Michael, I love you for your compassion and I love you for your mind, I love you for the way you face the daily grind. I love your sensitivity but most of all, by 'eck, I love the granite hardness of that thing you call your neck. Please, someone, Sean, Manna, anyone, please send my felicitatious li...

Daka wrote: "When I was in England in 2003 someone who was driving in the incorrect side of the road ran into me. He totalled the car I was driving and sent me off to hospital with two days of memory loss." So how, dear chap, do you know he was on the wrong side of the road? Wouldn't stand...

"(please note this post is subject to editing to preserve my image of omnipotence)."

Good heavens Michael - do people know your omnipotence is simply an image?
Shock horror.
Have you realised this yet yourself?

Thank heavens this is not hard copy - think of the poor forests that would fall before your far-fetched verbiage.

Re: Two new poems.

In my opinion, the second piece is stronger than the first but you might look at some of the images which lack originality and spontaneity - the image of the journey; the overuse of the star image. The closing stanza of the second piece seems totally at odds with the rest in its construction and use...

Re: Your smell is gone

Life is about a constant series of losses Not only is that depressing, but it also isn't the case with my life. (Nyah nyah!) Manna - is your "Nyah, nyah" meant as a one-upwomanship on daka because he has had losses in his life and you haven't? If you'll forgive my saying, it sounds prepos...
