Re: Leonard Has Passed Away
No one has ever moved me as much as Leonard. I am devastated, if not surprised. I was luckily enough to meet him in Lille in 2010, with my then 9 year old daughter. He was unfailingly cal, dignified and generous of spirit. His lyrics said more to me about the human condition, as ineptly experienced ...

Re: Hattie Webb E.P. Launch at King's Place (2nd Sept. 2016)
It was great to finally meet you, John, and I entirely echo your review, which captures the evening perfectly. I thought it was a superb performance by Hattie - she is a force of nature. Leonard played Night Comes on at Wembley on Saturday 8 September 2012. Sharon may not remember it, but it was utterly unforgetable for me!

Re: Happy Birthday, Leonard!
Wishing you a very happy and restful 80th birthday, Leonard. Your music consistently provides joy, humour, consolation and illumination. Your live shows are perfection. If there are more (and, selfishly, I hope there will be), I'll definitely be in the audience!

Re: Rolling Stone Article/Interview
"I'll have another shot or two at it when I go on the road – if I go on the road," he said. "The road is beckoning. I know if I run that song down in concert two-or-three-hundred times, I'm going to get it." It may not be a firm commitment, but it's a stronger indication of an in...

Discs received, ready to be sent on. I believe (but please correct me if I'm wrong) that zodkavombie is next, followed by chillymidnight. Please send me a PM telling me where I should send the discs. Re: Upcoming Leonard Cohen Live DVD
Thanks Jarkko. I for one am prepared to wait as long as it takes. Having attended the "Live in London" show, I was so excited that I bought 2 copies of the DVD, just in case one got scratched. The "reserve" copy is still in its wrapping. I think it was this that sugggested to fam...
