Harald Weinrauch has passed away
It's with great sorrow to announce that Harald Weinrauch passed away last Saturday. Those who joined the gatherings knew him as a witty and helpful friend. He was quite a character and it is hard to learn that he won't attend our events any more. RIP, Harald !

In 1999 they landed in Frankfurt and stayed in a hotel before I picked them up and brought them to our house where they stayed for a couple of days. I remember we visited the Paul McCar...

Re: The Event and Corona...
Dear Maarten - the Corona Virus has stopped everything around us like nothing else before and it will keep us busy and in danger more or less for the upcoming year. For several reasons I think it would be reasonable two reschedule the Ghent event in 2022. Even if the situation with the infections wi...

Re: Walking weekend in Yorkshire 2019
Hello Friends what a wonderful walking weekend organized by Phil and Jean. I will need Phil's help with the weather trick in 2021 when you all hopefully are fit and free to join the 7th walking tour in Black Forest Area, Germany. Re: The Flame-discussion thread
I posted the following to a group of University of Wisconsin sports fans who I consider friends. It contains some personal history of my love of Leonard and his works, but I thought it might be a good start to a discussion of this wonderful book of poems and notebook entries. Just received the book...

I am so sorry about this. Last time we met Arthur and Bernadette was at the Toowoomba LC Birthday celebration in 2007. What a shiny person he was with a great smile. RIP, Arthur.
