Re: "Popular Problems" - the next LC album (late September 2

Such great news, this could be a great album, althougt "almost like the blues" isn't astonishing, quite often the first single of the latest album of any great artist turns out to be the weakest song on the album. "Born in chains" has to me , when listened live, that "recent songs" feeling that made...

Re: Lou Reed dead

So sad, the first album I bought and loved was I'm your man and the second New York.
My first gig was on 3 february 1992 lou's magic&loss tour and the second one on 15 may 1993 Cohen's the future tour.
Will be always beloved

Re: Is it becoming slightly stale?

I wouldn't say that but actually I was looking forward to some new song on the european tour, the same way we got "night comes on" on the 2012 tour and from time to time "I cant forget" or "light as a breeze". Actually we have no songs that we havent listened yet from 2007 onward, must confes I was ...

There are so many, but if i should pick just one would be this one, because it happens quite often:

Thank you Jarkko.
Looking forwards to see "our man" and all of you cohenites on the summer tour.
No spain and no portugal dates this time around, will have to wait to the next tour for a gig home, thats a pity although becouse, my city Barcelona, has allways been very fond of our beloved bard. :)

"He was just a numberless man in a chair
who'd just come back from the war.
And you wrap up his tired face in your hair
and he hands you the apple core.
Then he touches your lips now so suddenly bare
of all the kisses we put on some time before."

Amazing, isn't it?

Put out your cigarette, my love,
you've been alone too long;
and some of us are very hungry now
to hear what it is you've done that was so wrong.
