I remember him saying in an interview how pleased he was that his daughter had got two dogs and he liked to teach them tricks, saying they were just mutts that she got from the pound.I seem to remember he once considered putting one of them on the cover of ten new songs.
btw welcome back Glyn

Re: Bob Dylan
This months edition of The big issue has a world exclusive interview with Dylan concerning this album, proceeds from UK sales will be going to Crisis UK. I am debating whether to buy the album it has had good reviews on Amazon.

Re: Sting "If On a Winter's Night" (featuring the Webb Sisters)
My husband bought this for me a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't sure at first but it's growing on me the more I listen. Soul cake is my favourite track too, it keeps going round in my head long after I listen to it. Like John I was not particularly a fan of Police but I like a lot of Stings solo work....

Re: Suzanne film Query
Thanks for putting me straight Jarkko. I didn't think I had come across something you would not have heard of I still haven't watched it and judging by your description I don't think I am going to make much of it either, still at 49p it hardly broke the bank!

Suzanne film Query
Yesterday I came across a dvd of a 2004 film called Suzanne ( I have had a quick look under the film/video section but can't find a mention of it ) It stars Richard Dreyfuss and Sondra Locke. The blurb states that it is based on the Cohen song. I haven't watched it yet so I can't give my opinion of ...

All good things come to those that wait. I had thought earlier in the year that I wasn't going to get to see him but miracles do happen. A wonderful show my hands are still sore from clapping. Only down side for us was our seats weren't too good although I got a wonderful view of him skipping, arms ...

Re: Cardiff Wales 8 November
I will be staying overnight and found it difficult to get reasonable hotel rooms, one quoted £200 a night!! another was £136 a night but you had to stay for min of 2. We finally found a guesthouse about a mile away for £75 and we booked 2 weeks ago, its probably harder now. BTW Kwills thanks for the...

Re: Cardiff Wales 8 November
I only found out this morning about the Cardiff gig, I couldn't believe it. Iv'e managed to get 2 tickets, the only thing is I don't think the seats are that good, block 4 seats 7 & 8. It's a side view, still seeing as I had given up all hope of seeing him this time round i'm still elated. It wa...
