Perla Batalla NYC City Winery August 10, 2018

I haven’t posted in ages, but wondering if anyone is going to see Perla next Friday. I’ve got my ticket but would love to see any local Leonard folks. Last time I saw her was at DROM and she was wonderful.

Re: Sad news: Arlene Dick has passed away

I was so very saddened to hear of Arlene's passing. Although I only met her once, I came to know her through her emails, comments on the forum and her wonderful blog. How I will miss that. Arlene was such an integral member of this forum and will never be forgotten. Her zest for life was incomparabl...

Re: A Thread of Thanks

Thank you again to all who help us Leonard 'friends' connect. I have been here almost since the inception, with lots of lapses, as mostly a lurker. You have provided me an insight to Leonard I would never have connected to. Thank you, thank you, all.

Re: Olympia, Paris ticket prices.......Hells Bells!

I went to three concerts during the last tour; Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania (just outside of Philadelphia - seating capacity 3119; Madison Square Garden - seating capacity 20,000 and Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas with a seating capacity of 4100. Each of these venues had a price range of...

Re: Old Ideas ...entire cd NPR radio

On my second listening with good headphones attached to computer. Really am liking Amen; it may be my favorite. I can't wait to get the physical cd in my hands next week.

Re: Old Ideas ...entire cd NPR radio

Love it so far. Will give it a closer listen in the morning. hopefully Born in Chains will be released on his next cd. He did say he had enough material. Maybe another cd later in the year then a tour to invigorate him?

Re: Leonard Cohen's BOL Inspired GLASS PORTALS-US Premieres

Saw Glass Portals Saturday evening and was mesmerized. What an enormously talented musician Tim Fain is....and easy on the eye too :D Loved the visuals but was expecting a bit more I think on stage. The reading of Leonard's poems was interesting and if you get a chance to see this fabulous show, don...
