thank you - I´ve heard that version some years ago. but I missed it again- because most of lyrics spell it with an a instead of an e..

so the man is the horse - and she is fastening the bells to make the ride/or relationship a bit more funny- allthough it is a struggle?

Take this longing "You fastened to the rain"??

I would be very glad if anyone could help me to interpretate the first two lines in "take this longing" Many men have loved the bells You fastened to the rain: I never quite got these lines- despite it is one of my absolute favouritesongs.. will you u plese help me and elaborate a bit on these lines...

Thanks all of you for making this weekend so fabulous and spetacular. I had so much fun and I am gratefull for having meeting you all crazy cohenfans.
