Re: Leonard at Glastonbury - Photographs by Venetia Dearden

I have often wondered why Leonard didn’t allow his Glastonbury performance to be televised. What a wonderful record of that event we’d have now

Re: The Darker Album and the Songs

String Reprise is one absolutely beautiful piece of music. Hats off to Patrick Leonard for this arrangement and for producing such a moving track. And this album is a just a masterwork. It's hitting all the spots. Don't really agree this should be on the album, although I agree it's a beautiful pie...

Re: LC on LC - Interviews and Encounters (new book)

My last word on the subject! Another curiosity is not only is Jeff Burger the 'author' or collector for both books, but Chicago Review Press/A Capello Books are the publishers of both

Re: LC on LC - Interviews and Encounters (new book)

Anyone know if there are plans to release this book on Kindle? And if so, when is it likely to become available? Incidentally, I'm in the middle of reading a similar book by the same author (about Bruce Springsteen) on Kindle!!

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Dublin, September 11th and 12th 2013

John Meagher, an Irish Independent music journalist, was on the radio this morning gushing with praise. He admitted worrying in advance there might be Len fatigue but ended up loving it. Hardly any filler, perfect sound and easily as good as his famed Kilmainham 08 appearances was the verdict- high...

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Dublin Sept 11, 12, 14 & 15, 2012

Cameras are fine once they are not professional. I didn't take my usual number of photos as I was to cold plus impossible to take them with all the wanderers. Then during the encores I thought a POD guy was stopping me so I put knit camera away. Turns out he was offering to take a photo off me LOL....

Re: SETLISTS OF THE EUROPEAN TOUR

This is some achievement for a man 77 yrs young. To satisfy the 'anorak' in me does the close on 4 hours time for the show include an 'interval' or is the length of the entire show 4hrs + the interval.

***It's 4 hrs or so including a 20 min interval / Jarkko***

Re: Old Ideas - Various Chart Positions

I agree with Tom, however there are very few weeks in any year in which it is 'safe' to issue an album i.e. when there won't be some serious opposition. It would be nice for Leonard to finally have a No. 1 in one or both of the major markets (US or UK), but if its not to be ... The best artists don'...

Re: New LC live CD announced: 'Back In The Motherland'

This album is from a crowd called 'Leftfield' and I picked one up to-day, along with one on Bruce Springsteen called Bound For Glory - radio broadcasts from the Boss in 1973, one from Boston and other from the Main Point. I bought both in HMV so I'm guessing no copyright or legal infractions.

Re: OLD IDEAS - THE NEW ALBUM

Firstly, thanks for the news, Jarkko. Looking forward in anticipation to all the new songs. I love the new songs played on the last tour but have listened to them so much on my iPod (bootleg versions) that I'm not particularly bothered they won't feature on the new album. Another of my great favouri...
