Re: never-ending gallery

...faces are so endlessly fascinating, one can just stare at them, like treasure maps... You clearly have an affinity for drawing faces (and/or using your media of choice to represent them), and perhaps part of that is due to your fascination and interest in human faces (and in human beings, from w...

Re: never-ending gallery

One more quick photo in response to Bev's suggestion: Leonard mentioned sparrows in poetry ("The Sparrows", "Beneath my Hand", any others?), and here's six of them perched on the birdbath in my back yard:

Re: never-ending gallery

...just thinking, maybe it would be nice if everyone either posts a pic or a drawing they have done of a bird and try to relate it to one of LC's lines - songs or poetry. It could even be one Bird On The Wire or many of them, ha! No pressure to do that, it's just a random thought ;-) Your photo of ...

I would happily take either: I adore birds, and I love this drawing of the ostrich on the wire, it's fabulous! The caption is perfect, and the little ears are a nice touch -- it made me laugh!

How fun (well, maybe not at 6:30 am...) -- a whole flock of birds on the wires! I'll bet they were making quite the racket! Thanks for the cute pic -- so lovely to see all those galahs!

Re: LC SIGNATURE

I’ve got a Canadian First Edition of Beautiful Losers with a signature. I’d love to think it’s authentic, but it looks somewhat dubious to me. Could be the real thing -- Leonard signed his name differently at different times. His first name in your book looks very similar to the way Leonard signed ...

[drawings of Marilyn and Leonard] Is there a name for the style of drawing in these last two portraits? I like them -- they look like cut gemstones.
