Re: 25 sculptures of leonard

Although my Norwegian is rusty (i.e., non-existent), Google Translate suggests that this fellow is selling these sculptures for 15,000 Norwegian krones each (roughly 1400 GBP or 2400 CAD). They are cast copies of an original sculpture he created. Apparently, he has recently been elected to the Roman...

Wonderful picture! Your ability to capture Leonard's spirit and to convey such depth of emotion in his eyes and face is a remarkable gift. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Re: LC to be inducted to Canada's Walk of Fame

...I agree with Wendy & Lisa as it is long overdue but hey its fantastic its happening... Yes, it is wonderful that Leonard will be honoured with this well-deserved "Legend" award, and that his "star" will grace the Walk of Fame in Toronto. Of course, for many of us, his "star" has shone brightly f...

Finally, but, a bit late, to say the least.

(I had to look up "SOCAN", since the acronym was new to me. For those who may be wondering, it stands for the "Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada".)

Re: Along the way... Discovering Leonard's poetry and novels

I guess all names vary with different accents :) the presenter at the start of this interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=570gL46ZmeI and Leonard just after that at the beginning of the same interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2pFG9WoxfU Yes, "vary", as in, some people get it wrong ....

Re: A tribute song, mastered at Abbey Road

Nice song, good lyrics, lovely production, well done! It has a definite 1960s folk vibe, with a sound reminiscent of early Dylan, I thought (to me, your voice and the steel-string guitar is a bit more Dylan than Cohen, but that's not a criticism!). Your friend has a good voice. Thank you for sharing...

Re: Leonard fans should watch Mr. Mercedes (also, a bit about Stephen King)

Some of Stephen [King]'s more literary and less creepy places to get started: Joyland (also relatively short, but quite possibly one of his best works) Hearts in Atlantis Bag of Bones And, I would add, at least in its film adaptation, "The Shawshank Redemption", which, although having nothing to do...

Re: ink blot

The responses from the other viewers baffle me. Isn't the first picture a Rorschach test? Geoffrey's predilection for psychology is well-known, and thus I assumed that he was planning to analyse our answers so as to reveal our deepest personality traits and other emotional characteristics. And then,...

No, it doesn't show at all, you hide your disdain very well! ;-)
