I'm curious, Gina... did you see Anjani perform in London? ~ Lizzy Nope, even though I'm on her mailing list, masochist that I am! (joke) If I had known earlier, I was considering hotdesking from an office at London for my work (I live almost 200 miles North), and hanging around the club hoping to ...

Hey Gingermop, You can't win against Lizzytysh. She's so enamoured of LC that she will brook no "criticism" of her idol. She will grind you into dust. My problem with Anjani is that all her songs are on the same musical plane. There's rarely a surprise. She does have a beautiful voice. So ...

Lizzytysh, you missed my point. I didn't say that Anjani had a lousy voice. Or that she's a horrible person. She's got a great voice and I'm sure that she's a nice, lovely person. If Anjani were to come to my city to sing in a club I would go and listen to her. And I'm sure I would enjoy her artistr...

Yeah, Lighning -- I so agree with you. Man, I would be pissed if I had bought tickets to one of the later NY shows. And booked a flight. And made hotel reservations. Let's not kid ourselves here, Leonard is the attraction. No matter how great Anjani's voice is, it would never sell records on it's ow...

Helven, I've always been fond of Pushkin. Are you a Pushkin fan? Upon the hills of Georgia lies the haze of night... Below, the Aragva foams... The sadness That fills the void of days is, strangely, half delight, 'Tis both sweet pain and sweeter gladness. Because you haunt my heart, it cannot be at ...

Include Me Out

After reading the post about The Leonard Cohen NY2004 Event and getting group discounts for the Sex Museum all I say is "Include me out" !

All I can envision is one long, smutty sniggerfest where everyone tries to top the last dirty joke. What could be more juvenile...or boring.

Byron,

Don't flatter yourself. You are in no danger. Even if you are the BBC's messenger boy.

Byron,

Don't hand me all that "has a history of..." rubbish. Give us some current BBC stories about the misery Great Britain is inflicting on the poor of the world. BBC and Byron. What a team!

tom,

Just once I wish Byron would ferret out a story on the horrors of British greed and avarice. He delights in being the terrier on the trail of those rats, the Americans. With the help of the BBC, of course.
