Re: CONCERT REPORT: Tel Aviv, September 24
I was in row 98 of the grass, the 1000NIS area, and some of the audience were very stiff as well....actually it was the first time I have been to a concert where everyone stayed sitting down, although by the 2nd half that changed and then everyone started enjoying themselves more, I was on my feet c...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Tel Aviv, Israel, Ramat Gan Stadium 9/24/09
I was speechless when I got home last night .....but it was awesome...3 encores, 48000 people singing along, a heartstoppingly beautiful rendition of Let it Be Thy Will to a totally silent crowd, the most incredible birkat cohanim, amazing instrumentalists....it was so moving to be there, seeing Leo...

Re: a little update regarding to the israeli concert
I was just sent a link to this page of travel information for the concert, on the police website...I assume the bus numbers listed are buses that go to the stadium? I am a bit confused because I was planning on taking the 531, 524 or 525 bus from Arlozorov and none of those are listed http://www.tel...

Re: a little update regarding to the israeli concert
Good idea to light the sticks during Hallelujah....maybe we could sing Yom Holedet Sameach as well at some point, his Hebrew birthday seems to fall next week so it isn't over yet! With my tickets there was also a piece of paper that seemed to be saying (my Hebrew is really appalling) that there was ...

Re: Tel Aviv Concert - Welcoming you to Israel
If coming from Jerusalem it is way quicker to get the bus, as the train takes about 3 hours :( According to Egged, it's about 1 hr 10 mins from Jerusalem Central Bus station to Tel Aviv Arlozorov, and then about 10-15 minutes from Arlozorov to Ramat Gan (Ayalon Mall /Sheshet HaYamim) which seems to ...

Re: Tel Aviv Concert - Welcoming you to Israel
Thanks for the suggestion , I get emails from the fan club but didn't realise they had tickets. Anyway, some more tickets went on sale - they moved a sound tower and that freed up 1000 more seats - it was reported on Haaretz. So we got tickets! I just checked and there are still some tickets availab...

Re: Tel Aviv Concert - Welcoming you to Israel
Where does one find second hand tickets in Israel? After months of waiting and watching for them to go on sale, I was in Ireland on the day it happened, and missed it!

Re: A question to Israeli fans re personal safety
Mirka, I agree, if G-d forbid, Iran decided to play nuclear superpower, things may change a little bit, and NONE of us will be at the concert! However, reports are that they are still at LEAST a couple of years away from that. As long as you don't go wandering round Gaza, Arab East Jerusalem, or Ram...
