The Promise
The Promise I remember that I promised you that I would always care That the days would find me waiting here For words from you to share So I trust all tales I hear from you 'Cause my promises I keep But no truth comes my way, dear friend Your promises are weak I guess the words were easier For you ...

Jim,
I thank you for the great compliment although I cannot accept. Those very few who know and love me in private life have had to learn exceptional tolerance and patience.
I am pleased that you have enjoyed our discussion. Mat, the same to you.

Yes, of course one can say that it isn’t the religions that cause the inhumanity and people of all faiths will assure that God is not responsible for the suffering. It is the evil of man. However history shows that most conflicts are religiously based. Conflicts that cause this suffering. If we cann...

Thank you Byron. You are obviously well read having your pulse on the goings on in this world. I had hoped that any responses would be like this creating discussion and more questions rather than any hostility. Reason is an interesting concept for interpretations of events have the virtue of being r...

Thank you Lizzie and Mat. I certainly did not write this to gain popularity, obviously, but it gnawed at me until I gave in. I guess I am just sick of the suffering. I see enough in my profession but it is only a minute fraction of what goes on in the rest of this world. It makes me question so much...
