Re: Sherry has passed away

Hello, please don't be surprised by the author of this post. It is Sherry's daughter, Mariana, writing you all to thank you for every word that has been said in this thread. I don't think you could fully understand how much it has meant to us and what a great help this has all been. Thanks to your p...

Re: Memorial Bench.

Dear Andrew,

Your memorial bench inscription is perfect. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.

I also lost my mother at precisely this time of year four years ago. The memories are still
with me though.

Take care,
Sherry

Re: So Much More To …

Hi, Laurie thank you for your suggestion on finding Invictusl. It's so difficult sometimes to muster up that level of what I like to think of as protective aggression, but so necessary. I was familiar with the last two lines but not the enitre poem. Thanks again. Steven, your suggestions are interes...

Re: So Much More To …

Hi Steven, The "invaders" are indeed medical. Luckily, I have an excellent medical team looking after me. I have been advised several times to try using visualization and I have done so to a certain extent, but have not heard about using hypnotism. I wonder if the methods or effects are ve...

So Much More To …

I'm sorry I've been away from the Forum and this section in particular for such a long time. In fact, I may have been away so long that there are many new people here. If so, I will be happy to meet them and say hello as well to those with whom I have not communicated for awhile. So Much More To … I...

Re: Philip Glass/Book of Longing Meetup in London 20/10/07

Hi Diane,

That day was one to remember (or forget, depending on how much you like rain) because of
Anjani's wonderful performance.

Believe it or not, that blue sofa made it all the way back to Geneva with us.

I'm looking forward to seeing you again (in drier circumstances)!

Re: Philip Glass/Book of Longing Meetup in London 20/10/07

Dave,

Thanks very much for the tip on the Travelodge. I have booked my room for the 19th and 20th.

I am really looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces again and to meeting some new Cohenites.

I hope there is still room for me at the Camden Town meetup. :D

Re: HALLELUJAH BEST SONG EVER IN HISTORY OF SONGINESS

It's definitely becoming very popular, and I do enjoy it, although I still prefer Dance Me To The End Of Love. The daughter of a friend of mine in Ireland got married this summer and the bride and groom each had 1/2 of a line from Hallelujah engraved inside their wedding bands. Unfortunately, I can'...

Re: Anjani's Summer 2007 Tour Schedule

Hi,

I've been off the board for awhile. I'm just wondering if any plans have been put in
place for a meetup in Dublin on the 27th?

I didn't know Paul, but reading the heartfelt things that others have
written about him here I can feel the loss.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
