Re: LC stamps & collectibles by Canada Post

I was very lucky to see the postal truck in Vancouver on Tuesday! It was a thrill to see it live! It was random as I was driving down a back lane looking for parking and there it was... The driver had only heard of Leonard from hearing Hallelujah on Shrek but told me his customers have been educatin...

Any chances that I can order one notebook from another place?

I too would like to know if there is anywhere to order the Icon Journal only. Hopefully that will be possible one day.

Thanks Jarkko for the cool video.
Does anyone know if these trucks are all across Canada or only in Montreal at the moment.
Going up to Vancouver in a few days and would love to see one up close and personal.

Re: Leonard Cohen's statue will be unveiled in Vilnius

At first when I saw the sttue I didn't "get" it or like it but after sitting with it awhile I realized it resonated with me deeply. I had a glimpse of an expression we have seen a lot of (on video or in person) when he was listening to the other musicians or singers on stage deep in a trance almost ...

Re: Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love, film by Nick Broomfield

Thanks Mary! I was just in Vancouver and Mary told me it is playing this week at The Fifth Avenue Cinemas which is a very nice small theater complex and easy to get to as its not downtown. I missed it by days. I am watching to see if and when it comes to the Seattle area. I too saw that the DVD that...

Re: Review of Jewish Museum Show A Crack in Everything

A keyboard that plays random poetry readings. This is not compelling material. The random poetry readings are read by Leonard himself and are all from the Book of Longing! Now that he is gone hearing his voice out of the blue after pressing a piano key was so special...to me. We are all different a...

Re: Review of Jewish Museum Show A Crack in Everything

I agree with Wendy and Lisa! I went twice in Montreal and spent 5 hours one day and still only got through 3/4 of it. I loved it and it brought so much of Leonard back into my life. Some of the exhibits weren't for me but so many were just great. I would suggest anyone who lives in NYC or visiting t...

Re: Video NY Event 2004

Thank you Wybe for posting your video of the NY Event. It looked like such a joyous occasion. Loved seeing the ones I know looking so young. It gave me a bit of history of some of the people who sing when there are get togethers I've attended. (Golittle, Don Summer, Joe Way and others). Absolutely g...
