Re: Five Concerts in Halifax (May 12 to 17)

It is so difficult to express in postings especially the way I write. LC is a gem he can do no wrong if he sang the phone book I would be appreciative. The quest still goes on there are talented people seeing the show any NFB people here? Can anyone tell me how they projected grey for Hallelujah? I ...

Re: Five Concerts in Halifax (May 12 to 17)

It is amazing people feel the need to criticize this group of people at the top of their profession. I worked at the Skydome when Madonna was rehearsing she cursed and yelled at people, (one of her dancers made a mistake and was laughing it off she ragged him out for thinking it was funny) everythin...

Re: Fredericton (May 11) - the first concert of the tour

Re: Halifax May 12 setlist

I loved the way the audience responded to this song too. Swooning females LOL sounds like the crowd was as lively in Halifax, might be a Maritime thing? He was applauded when he sang "I was born this way I had not choice I was born with the gift of a golden voice" he laughed when we did th...

Re: Fredericton Show

There was a flood in 1995, and a big one in the 70's so I am confident that the Playhouse has its sensitive equipment out of harm's way. The water is receeding, there has been very little rain. I am confident the Playhouse will be open on Sunday. http://www.theplayhouse.nb.ca/selected_event.tpl?even...

Re: Fredericton Show

I am starting to count the days, it is still like a dream that he is coming here. Hopefully it will be a nice evening and we can meet up after at the Rogue on the patio. Mr. C.R., will see you there. I'm in row H in the center, one row behind the expensive seats.

Re: Chance of being pulled from the audience

You are a tease Elizabeelzebubeth. I like saying your name it would be a good name for a children's book.
It is hard not to day dream about the concert. I have to admit I would be shy/stunned, I would be envious of the person who did.

Oh Leonard Cohen dance me to the end of love :D

The ground did not freeze, aparently, so it might not be that bad afterall. No worries the snow is melting but not too fast.

Re: Leonard Cohen Gave Me Candy

I love to hear Leonard Cohen stories. Having a cat named after him I hear many of them. It would be nice if the folks who have stories would write them out. I was in Montreal two years ago. My friend lives in the same area as he does. I did not go out there seeking him, but though it would be nice i...

Re: Chance of being pulled from the audience

Hi Jonnie I have not seen a post from you since I joined hope you are well. I would be horrified if he did that to me, I think I would fake fainting to get out of it!!!!!!!! Dr. John did that here in Fredericton, he asked for some women to dance on the satge for his last song. It is not a very sophi...

Re: Top 3 Songs To Make your Concert???

Story if Isaac, Bernadette (that song makes me teary), Tower of Song, Last Year's Man, Hallelugah. How can I stop at three? He could sing the yellow pages I would be happy.
It has not sunk in that he is actully coming here, it is very surreal.
