Re: What Leonard Cohen Song Are You?
Suzanne. Perhaps not coincidentally, the first song I ever heard Leonard (or anyone else) sing.

I love this. Hope the doubters will be able to laugh at the absurdities and let wisdom and doing the right thing prevail.

Re: Swasticas sprayed on Leonard Cohen’s Montreal synagogue
This is horrifying and heart breaking. And it is terrifying in terms of the future. I am livid. Yes, the poison from here has spread. I hope the energy does not take hold in Canada's primarily peaceful land. I thank G~d that Leonard didn't witness this. I shudder that Leonard's dear friends have. I ...

Re: Review of Jewish Museum Show A Crack in Everything
Jarkko ~ I'm hoping you may know the answer to this. With COVID increasing exponentially in the U.S., and the originally scheduled month for the beginning of this exhibit in San Francisco being January something, do you have any idea if the exhibit has been postponed indefinitely, or rescheduled for...

Joe Way... Did you eventually connect with your friend Mark? I hope so. That was a particularly dangerous period in NYC.

Re: Producer Hal Willner has passed away
What ideas for BRILLIANT projects did Hal take with him. Had he contracted the virus at a later date, he may well still be alive today. Wondering the first and knowing the second makes his death more painful.

Re: Craiglist's founder loves Cohen
This was a very interesting article. I only wish (of course) that more had been written about Craig's love of Leonard, and what pieces of Leonard's work he owns. I love his dry wit. He seems like a seriously good and nice guy.

Re: Picture Show of 2012 Madison Event
Oh, Joe and Anne, Jarkko and Eija, Ken, and Wijbe with your magic. I'm seeing and watching this for the first time, after learning of and responding to Dick Straub's death. Emotions are running high in a flood of memories. A life so apart from my everyday one, yet all so tangible and real and meanin...

Re: Dick Straub has passed away
Like you, Dar, I've been away from the Forum for awhile recently. When I saw the grim thread title, I gasped, "Oh, No...". I'm shocked because Dick was still so young in spirit and in years. I had tried to get him to respond to posts I left on his FB wall, but was told he was okay, but just didn't g...

Just weighing in with yopietro, danslenoir, and Lisa on this one. I agree with all of you. (Biden doesn't even factor into the equation.)
Meanwhile, I love you, g.

Re: Leonard Has Passed Away
The day I learned of Leonard's death marked two months to come of depression and tears, with no relief, as my tears and depression toggled between my loss of Leonard, and Hillary Clinton's loss, leaving us with Trump, and all the nightmares to come. I wish so much that Leonard had been here througho...
