Re: All Pre-Sale Tickets are "Will Call" except VIP tickets

Does "Will Call" only also apply to the AMEX presales?

Re: All Pre-Sale Tickets are "Will Call" except VIP tickets

Although "Will Call" makes it more difficult for scalpers, it is still relatively easy to scalp tickets; simply require your buyers to meet you at the venue and distribute the tickets after you pick them up at Will Call. The "Will Call" option eliminates StubHub as an outlet, as they require physica...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Los Angeles, April 10 & 11

>i'm still processing most of my thoughts but that had to be one of the finest concert experiences of all time. I feel the same about the San Diego show, and I've seen everybody (other than the Beatles, and even then I had tickets I couldn't use), and few equal Leonard's performance, grace and manne...

Re: Comment on the ticket issue from the tour management

[quote="tamarisms"]Hi. I was just wondering if anybody knows how the following situation came about: I first tried to buy tickets for the Leonard Cohen shows in LA, at the very start of the amex presale and the general public sale. Using best available & any price, the best seats that came up were o...

Re: ticketmaster is an empire of evil

The above restrictions are actually quite easy to circumvent if you're a scalper who wants to see the artist in question. SImply have the friend you are going with also order 2 will call seats. Both of you pick them up at showtime and escort the winner of your eBay auction and his/her guest in, and ...

Re: Leonard in San Diego

Actually, the $549 tix are the VIP seats that were also available during the presale.

Take a look a ticketsnow.com right after the public onsale.

Re: sandiegoshow

Well I got Center Row P to start, tossed 'em back, and then selected the $253.00 seats only to find, like you, there were none. I'm sure that price range was excluded (by Ticketmaster? by AEG?) from the presale. I'm also betting you see a good number of these seats on the Ticketmaster-owned ticket b...

Re: Leonard in San Diego

I'm betting Rows BB through M are of the $253.00 variety and were excluded from this presale. I'm betting very heavy money you'll see an inordinate number of those seats show up on Ticketbastard's scalping site in the same manner they completely fucked over Bruce Springsteen fans a couple of weeks a...

Re: sandiegoshow

Password worked fine; grabbed 15th row dead center on the aisle. Not as good as I'd like, but I'm happy with them and not willing to spend more. (Total in my order was $419.85.) Not a great selection here; closer seats were available, (some 2nd and 3rd row) but they were on the extreme left and righ...

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members

Another question for the Group A folks. I know the price range for San Diego is from $89.50 to $254.00. Can someone give me a rough idea of how many different pricing levels there are, and how they break down. (I should have checked the Monday onsales, and would now, but those sales are all offline ...
