Re: Beth Hart on Leonard Cohen

I found it curious that she was such a huge fan of LC What I found even more curious was the way the interviewer interrupted her enthusiastic reply by suggesting she should talk about a living artist. Perhaps there is one or two more out there that I cannot recall at the moment... Johnny Cash did a...

Bonjour. The title of the song is "Non je ne regrette rien" by Edith Piaf.

Bonjour, ça va?

Indeed, it's some lines from "Non, je ne regrette rien" combined with the melody of "O Christmas Tree".

Re: Leonard singing "O Christmas Tree" (more or less)

He and Jennifer once had plans to do a whole album of Piaf songs. - A pity that this never actually happened. I vaguely recall something along those lines. I've heard him talk about it in several interviews. Here's an excerpt from one of them: https://cohencentric.com/2016/02/10/leonard-cohen-on-th...

Re: L.C. Song Hunt

The song I'm looking for could be regarded as a precursor to "Feels So Good". Maybe even to "The Darkness". Billy Joel's "The River Of Dreams" might be related to it as well. There's also a similarity to "Ain't No Cure for Love". It's a song from the 90s - that got somehow resurrected in the 2010s....

Re: Can anyone confirm a 1940s school kid signature of LC?

"Our" Leonard may be unique but is Leonard Cohen really such an unusual name? Indeed. - I'm reminded of this hilarious letter to the editor by a Leonard Cohen from Northampton: "Leonard Cohen: On those who litter, and those who help" http://www.gazettenet.com/Archives/2013/05/cohenletter517-hg http...
