Democracy: Extra Verses

Dear all, Like many other here, I have been revisiting Leonard's work over the last several weeks. I have been particularly struck by how prophetic some of the songs have been in terms of the current state of world (and US) affairs. Democracy touches on many very timely currents and I would be curio...

An ode to Leonard and New York City

I matched one of my photos with some lines from Leonard's I am dying poem. You can see it on facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... 2842056179. Please feel free to share. I have also included the picture and the text in this message.

Best regards,

Jens

Photo for "I wonder how many people in this city"

I run a photo blog and thought that one of my recent shot was a good fit for Leonard's old poem "I wonder how many people in this city". Here's the post: http://blog.pamhule.com/2012/06/poem-fo ... night.html

Photos from Cambodia

I posted this along with a follow up in the world tour section of the forum. Lizzytysh suggested I cross-post this here. I visited my cousin in Cambodia the weekend LC was supposed to play and planned to go to the concert. Although it was a let down to see the concert canceled just weeks before my v...

Re: Photos from Cambodia

Thanks all for your kind comments! Lizzytysh, I will post this in the "poetry place" forum as well. Jeff, I will make sure to check out your bar next time I'm in town. I'm thinking about going back to do a more extensive series of portraits from the countryside. I've added some more pictur...

Photos from Cambodia

I visited my cousin in Cambodia the weekend LC was supposed to play and planned to go to the concert. Although it was a let down to see the concert canceled just weeks before my visit, my brief travels in Cambodia did not disappoint (and I still have need to make it to Angkor Wat). It's one of the p...

Photos from Radio City Music Hall

I thought you might enjoy some of the photos I took at Saturday's nights show in New York. I covered the event for Time Out New York: http://www3.timeoutny.com/newyork/thevolume/2009/05/leonard-cohen-at-radio-city-music-hall/ You can see a few more at my flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/...

Re: Beacon Concert Update

Jarkko, Are guests allowed to bring a camera to the reception? I presume we will not be allowed to take photos at the actual concert, but it would be great if you could confirm that too.

Re: Summary of pre-sale

For those who are not familiar with NYC, there are very few hotel choices in the immediate area of the Beacon Theatre on the Upper West Side. That being said, there are a great number of choices in Midtown, one would want to be on the west side of Midtown and in the upper streets if possible (Midto...

Re: Special Concert in New York

Jarkko, this is probably for you: We are five friends who would like to attend the concert in the Balcony 1 seats. Is there any way to get a row of 5 seats together? I'm thinking that it might be difficult with the 4-tickets-per-order limit. Thanks for all your wonderful work! ***I have sent you a P...
