Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Dublin September 11, 12, 14 & 15, 2012

Wybe, many thanks for sharing your photos of your stay in Ireland. They have a special significance for me as my local pub Kavanagh`s of Roundwood features heavily in them. Also I hope you enjoyed your visit to Luggala ( the lake in the mountains ) which I consider to be one of the most beautiful pl...

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Dublin Sept 11, 12, 14 & 15, 2012

Another memorable evening in Kilmainham last night. I saw Leonard for the very first time on a memorable June night in 2008 and I thought that night could never be surpassed. But Leonard keeps on surprising us and last night was a veritable feast of musical talents. 32 songs performed between 19.15 ...

Re: Leonard for Ireland?

IrishMar, what a wonderful Ambassador for Ireland you are. You have my full support to get leonard and his wonderful band back to our fair land. How our nation could do with another lift as we suffer from recession and floods. Please Leonard call this away again soon

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Budapest, August 31

Chelev, I am happy you enjoyed seeing leonard so much. Your comment at the end about seeing the sea reminded me of a girl called Judith who is from Budapest. She came with our family on a first visit to the sea and the joy on her face was something to behold.

Re: "Leonard Cohen Live in London" - DVD & 2CD - April 2009

I think it is time to draw the line on the arguments/discussions about the quality of the DVD. I have my copy since early june and it is my precious reminder of the time i spent in Leonards company at 3 shows in Dublin in 08 and 09. Even if we never get to see him in concert again we have a permanen...

Re: Leonard Cohen wins Meteor Award

amcgee, I am sure that as there was no performance involved it was edited out on a time issue. Maybe there was no one to accept the award and so the RTE just ommitted it from the broadcast.
