Leonard Cohen's Montreal house
Just returned from a vacation in beautiful Montreal. I made a "pilgrimage" to his home in front of Parc Portugale ( a three story stone row house). The park has a gazebo and is closed to the public for renovations. Leonard Cohen's house has graffiti on it.

"I'm Your Man" a tribute
This is dedicated to Lizzy. I wrote it in March 2007 and deleted it from the poetry section. Alot has happened since then including amazing and unexpected tours. "I'm Your Man" (a parody) If you want a poet, I'll compose some steamy lines for you. And before you know it, I will have to shu...

Re: New York, February 19, 2009 - Beacon Theatre Show
great show. The woman on my right was from Paris and the couple to my left were from Scotland. They named their daughter "Alexandria". Unfortunately, they had to get their tickets through scalpers. They said it was worth it, though.

Re: Ticketmaster and Live Nation hoping to merge
The Obama Justice Department is investigating whether this buyout constitutes a monopoly. Senator Shumer(Ny) and rep Pascell from NJ are opposing the merger. It's a good thing we have a new administration because it is unlikely the previous one would oppose it under the antitrust laws. We can only h...

Re: Our Postconcert Meetup at O'Hurley's
Three Days and counting!
I'm taking a bus from D.C. to New York Penn Station. It's $25.00 each way.
I'm looking forward to seeing L.C. fans in person after the concert. How many people do you guess will be able to show up?

Hurray. Finally got tickets! Does anybody know of a hotel near the Beacon Theater? Any place other fans are congregating?

Re: Hallelujah on UK X-Factor (all threads merged here)
I think it is exciting that there is so much discussion and interest in Halleujah , no matter what the interpretation or venue. My first encounter with the song and interest in Leonard Cohen was watching Bon Jovi sing it a show on Country TV channel, no less. He told the audience that he heard someo...

Re: Rain!
Feels Like Rain Down here the river meets the sea And in the sticky heat I feel ya' open up to me Love comes out of nowhere baby, like a hurricane And it feels like rain Underneath the stars lying next to you Wondering who you are baby How do you do? When the clouds blow in across the moon And the w...

Re: Addiction
What type of black widow are you referring to?
My father died when I was quite young. Mom thought I wrote the poem about her.
If you have several widows of the human kind under your trailer, your neighbors may be right.(joke)
