Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN

Happy to see so many patient people on line - my computer is in danger of a punch in the face by now. Like others have said, it is fairly common for Ticketmaster not to open the links on time but this takes the biscuit ..... lucky that I am not working until afternoon. Something similar happened wi...

Thanks so much for your efforts. This type of situation is fairly regular with Ticketmaster.ie.

Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN

AEG emailed me that they're working to find out why the Irish Ticketmaster has not yet activated the 2nd show. Will let you know. Thank you for your efforts. Are you coming to Dublin on this occasion ? ***Unfortunately not - I will participate in the Galway Walking Weekend a week later, and couldn'...

Re: Really not fair

Not entirely sure about that. I purchased the Beacon tickets with the Irish credit card on a "Will Call" basis - that was the only option available - but there was no difficulty when using the card. Looks like a different arrangement is in place for the current round of fan pre-sales. P.S....

Re: Really not fair

Hi Wendy, Thanks for your clarification re the "Other" option. Glad that I didn't waste time following it up yesterday. Like you, I incline towards the "screw-up" theory on this occasion. I had no difficulty obtaining tickets for the Beacon show while using my Irish credit card i...

Re: Really not fair

I can understand your annoyance. Did you try the Canadian option? When I checked within that, several countries were listed (e.g. Mexico), as well as the option "Other". I'm just wondering whether, if you had clicked on the "Other" option, would it have allowed you to use your cr...

Re: sold out ?

I don't think it was clever at all. I think it was misleading for board members too. Of course I checked it out but there was none already in 10:00. And I tried many times after. Admittedly, I wanted a pair. Sorry for wanting to go with someone, i.e. my wife. You could be right! It was clever if yo...

Re: sold out ?

I thought that it was a really clever idea to change the password late on - regular visitors to this site would know where to get the update. I only got alerted to the need to check for an update when Ticketmaster refused the original password!

Re: New York, February 19, 2009 - Beacon Theatre Show

IrishMafr, I was truly delighted for you when I read of your account of meeting Leonard. Like you, we travelled over from Ireland just for the concert and found it to be an exhilarating and memorable experience. Back in March 1985, Leonard was performing in the National Stadium in Dublin as part of ...
