Re: Live in Dublin Sound
Hi I have all his Live albums and have always being a bigger fan of live records more than his studio albums. I bought the live in Dublin album last friday and in my opinion it is the worst produced album i have ever heard. I am no music producer opr expert, but compared to the live in london and ot...

Re: Popular Problems - Album Reviews
Hi Overall i think it is a great album, i tend to prefer his live albums as opposed to his studio ones, the last few studio ones for me were only ok, this is better and more bluesy a good mixture of songs, one or 2 are passable, one in particular "Did i ever Love you" is ok, but once the c...

Re: URGENT: LONDON AND LEEDS RE-SCHEDULED
Hi At the end of the day, the buck stops in Cohen desk, he is the boss and though he may have organisers who plan these things, he should have the final say. when he knows people go to extreme lenght to go to his concerts and buy non refundable air line tickets etc, to cancel it now is wrong. whethe...

Re: Leonard Cohen In Dublin
Well now its gone, but at least jarkko says that they will be news next week. however i think that this may be a concert i am not going to see, the way these concerts are announced is rather annoying and really not fair on loyal fans!

Re: Is it becoming slightly stale?
fair point, but wouldn't it be nice if he started first set with a different song, or the second set with a different song, or the encores... the essential parts of the show are the same, in fact nearly all his comments at concerts are the same. this cannot be denied. if he came back to ireland , of...

Re: Is it becoming slightly stale?
of course it is getting stale, the same songs are played most of the time, starting off with the same songs. if you look at the set lists since cohen returned to the touring scene, most sets are similar, with a variation of a few songs. i have seen him 4 times in his 4 tours that came to ireland and...

Re: Hope for Europe? (Several threads merged)
Well Said Vicomte totaly agree with you Although i do accept 6 months is plenty of time , however with all the drip feeding of concerts, people may have arranged to go to one of the existing concert(s), only to find out in the end of february that there is a closer one to them. This is not fair. I f...

Hi
I think it is well flagged that he won't be playing outdoors, so that rules out the electric picnic. Looks like its the 02 or nothing. Maybe the marque in cork.
Hope to see him back in Ireland

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: Dublin Sept 11, 12, 14 & 15, 2012
I agree.. Best Irish show ever is very personal. For me Friday night was a good show but I thought he was better in Sligo. But that's my opinion...best Irish show ever is a bit of a stretch. As someone mentioned Cohen had a cold so I would assume even Cohen would say that he wasn't 100% this week. B...
