Leonard Cohen's fans might have reason to thank Kelley Lynch. The singer's ordeal at the hands of his former manager has led to a late burst of creativity.
After all, it was the need to top up his pension fund following her depredations that led to his remarkable creative rebirth over the past four years.
First came the world tour that began in May 2008 – when Cohen was 73 – and lasted, barring various breaks for illness and injury, until December 2010, covering 189 shows. Then, earlier this year, came Old Ideas, his first album since Dear Heather in 2004.

Is there some sort of therapy for stalking? I didn't know anything about this situation before reading about it here on the forum, so the cumulative effect of getting all the details all at once leaves a decidedly creepy feeling. Wishing Leonard & family peace, protection and safety.

Suite is usually the office number in a large building I am pretty sure.
Hope you feel better soon. Try a 'hot toddy' and get plenty of rest.

Suite does refer to an office or suite of offices in a larger building, where sub-leased spaces are available. I dont know anything about this card company, it may indeed have been aside business she started. As far as time served, it's true we have an enormous problem with overcrowding, and non-violent offenders are often released very early. But KL has been put into a number of programs ( internally) that require completion, including anger management, substance abuse and psych evaluation (after 6 months, I believe). That being said, it's hard to really know how long she'll stay incarcerated. BTW it's the same facility Lindsey Lohan was in. But she is on 5 years summary probation, so she'll have to report regularly and if she violates, she'll go to state prison for the remainder of the prob. Period. Have a good weekend. Off to NYC tomorrow. (presently she is serving in county jail)
