Tom, if I am not queue-jumping, I would appreciate being next on the vine. Please post here if you are happy for me to contact you via PM with my address. In light of Jarkko's recent news, that no new tour is planned, then a revisit to the Vegas concert will be the next best thing.

Scott

I sent the discs to Scott on Friday. They are fantastic (though the incessant "whooping" gets a bit much). Great memories.

Sorry that the "whooping" disturbs you, TommyJ. I didn't realize that the recording device would pick that up in such a magnified way; I thought it would have blended in with all the other hundreds of hoots, whoops, whistles, cheers & cat-calls! Though, on the other hand, I'm not sure it would have changed anything, if I had realized that. I have to "hoot" for Leonard Cohen, I just can't help it. But I really wouldn't call it "incessant"; with a couple of rare exceptions, it's only in between songs, as fortunately, when Leonard is singing, I'm way too spellbound to even breathe, let alone move a muscle or utter any sound at all!

I love the enthusiasm in this recording! I was among the privileged few to be sitting near the stage (and next to holydove, who was kind enough to record this Great Event and share it with us!). The cheering and applause in the section we were in was absolutely thunderous, and this recording reflects what it was like to be among so many delighted "fans." We were cheering our hearts out for Leonard, and the big smiles he gave us all for our expressions of joy made it very worthwhile! It was a hell of a send-off for Leonard, the band, and the 08-10 tour, and it is wonderful to be able to relive it so vividly with this great recording! When I hear all that "whooping," I just whoop right along with it!

Many thanks to TommyJ.

I have now received and copied the Discs. I believe that segelregina might be next on the list.

If it is you, please let me know your contact details. You can PM me if you want.

Also thanks to holydove, the originator of this vine. I am reliving the concert as I compose this message.

Regards,

Scott

I've got the North American discs & have just sent you a private message.

Thank you Abby! Just texted you back. I'm in-between North America and Europe right now so I'm not sure to which vine I should belong. I'm sorry for causing confusion. Maybe I could ask someone in the UK for their disc in a month or so...

Hi da2008,

I have the European vine discs. Segelregina was to be the next in this vine, however I have received no contact. If you have an address in the UK you would like me to send them to, please let me know where and when.

Scott
