It could be "One of Us Cannot Be Wrong" (from Songs of Leonard Cohen) where it sounds like he's running around the studio yelling, since his voice fades in and out a bit!

Just as I thought, I found a lot of stuff from all of you. I've been listening Leonard since I was teenager, now that I'm fifty I start to keep an eye and my mind on his lyrics as well.

I didn't know a word of English before, so I wasn't able to.
I find myself along his songs....I'm a sailor without Suzanne, who never walked upon the water but sails over.
I'd love so much being that man who can be lover, partner, doctor, boxer, driver or father ....yes I would like to say ...I'm your man.
Just when my hair begins to turn grey, and a few of friends have blown, my eyes full of teardrops see a lot of places from childhood completely rotten
I'm tied to a magnificent tower of songs he left.
I was even sentenced to five years of boredom and obscurity for trying to change the system from within.

Short, I feel just every line along plenty of songs like mine, that's all.

My favourite was always Hallelujah but it's been ruined for me by its overuse in these X Factor, Pop Idol, I wanner be a Star type rubbish.
I'm Your Man and Joan of Arc do it for me. They are so powerful in their words and imagery (for me anyway).

Well for me there is no choice. It has to be "Bird On The Wire". This was the first song I had ever heard Leonard sing. It was so different to anything else going around. The words really echoed my feelings and my life at the time - and still does. So much so then that I wrote all the words to the song down. I still have that same piece of paper to this day. Besides, you never really forget your first love (song or person) do you?
