Well, in my case it was a long planned holiday with my 88 years old mother at the same time, booked before the Montreal event was published and probably her last long-distance travel, much awaited and then enjoyed. One does not postpone projects with an 88 years old.

Hi Mary
Hope you’re well.
Like Harald, others will have their own and personal reasons for not being able to go to Montreal.
I look forward to seeing you in the coming years, maybe Budapest, maybe Hydra.
(Circumstances being willing)
Take care
Dave

Hi Dave,

I'm another of the LCWW brigade who didn't make it to Montréal. More importantly I didn't really get to speak to you (or Barry) at the last supper in Budapest..

I enjoyed the outing very much - you will be aware of the personal reasons that made it important for me - and I have enjoyed the memories and photos posted here.

¡Hasta el próximo!
Tom
of course you say you can't complain
