Mikelangelo’s ‘Cave, Waits & Cohen’ UK shows

Post by Andrew (Darby) »

Mikelangelo, an Australian performer who has been referred to previously in another thread here, is about to embark on the UK premiere of his ‘Cave, Waits & Cohen’ tribute show. :D

He’ll perform the show in Brighton this Friday, July 28th, then at the Edinburgh Festival from Wednesday 2nd until Monday 28th August (two shows each night).

Check out the details for these shows at these respective links:

I highly commend this immensely talented singer to anyone who can get along to catch him at either venue. I’ve seen the show here in Melbourne, as has Alan M (in Adelaide) and we were both very suitably impressed. 8)

Cheers,

Incidentally, I saw Mikelangelo perform a ‘By Request’ show at one of my local venues last Sunday night and he told me there were more requests for his Cohen covers than for any other artist or song (including his own). 8)

On this occasion he performed 'Tower of Song’, ‘Famous Blue Raincoat’ and ‘Dance Me to the End of Love’ in admirably moving fashion. :D
